Saint Antony aka Fernando was born 800 years ago. Antony was a very popular advocate of the gospel message. He was a brilliant orator and preacher.
Journey
At the age of 15 he joined the Augustinians in Lisbon. After arriving in Messina he traveled north to join ST.Francis. The poor and sinful turned to him for benediction.

Saint Antony was called to his eternal reward on June 13, 1231. His remains rested in the His tomb has become the most center of pilgrimages and for many manifestations.
